Book Your Test For CSCS Red Card
The CSCS Red Card comes in different types for trainees, apprentices, and experienced workers. All Red Cards provide temporary site access and require you to have passed the CITB HSE Test to be eligible.
Booking Your CITB Test
The first step to getting any CSCS Red Card is to book your CITB Test. The exact test depends on the type of Red Card you’re applying for, but all tests focus on assessing your understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards within the construction sector.
Booking the CITB Test is simple and can be done directly on the CITB website. Be sure to schedule your test early, as availability can be limited and slots fill up fast.
Test For CSCS Red Card
The CSCS Red Card test is designed to confirm your solid understanding of health and safety
practices on construction sites. All versions of the test evaluate your knowledge of risks,
responsibilities, and industry best practices. Performing well in this test is essential, as it
plays a major role in determining your eligibility for the CSCS Red Card—so thorough preparation
is highly recommended.
Unlike other CSCS cards, which typically have only one or two types (such as Black, Gold, Green,
Blue, and White), the Red Card comes in five different variations. This page will guide you
through the different types of CSCS Red Cards, how to obtain each one, and explain the details
of the CITB Test required for the Red Card.
