CSCS Green Card Operative
Validity - 2 years for New Application. 5 years for Renewal
To obtain this card, you must have completed the Health, Safety and Awareness online course or an equivalent qualification. Proof of completion is required. All applicants are also required to pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test, which can be booked below. This card is valid for five years.

CSCS Blue Card - Skilled Worker
Validity - 5 years
Eligibility for this card requires completion of the Health, Safety and Awareness online course or an equivalent qualification, with proof provided. Additionally, all applicants must pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test, which can be booked below. The card is valid for five years.
CSCS Red Card Apprentice
Validity - 4 years 6 months
This card is designed for individuals who have started a recognised apprenticeship. You will need to provide proof from your training provider or employer. All applicants must also pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test, which can be booked below. The card is valid for four years and six months.
CSCS Red Card Experienced Worker
Validity - 1 year
This card is intended for individuals with on-the-job experience who are registered to complete an NVQ or SVQ Level 2 or above. Proof of NVQ registration from your training provider is required. The card is valid for one year and is non-renewable. All applicants must also pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test, which can be booked below.
CSCS Red Card Technical, Supervisor, Managers
Validity - 3 years
This temporary card is available exclusively to supervisors, managers, and technical workers with on-the-job experience. Applicants must be registered for an NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification and provide proof of registration from their training provider. All applicants are also required to pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test, which can be booked below.
CSCS Red Card Trainee
Validity - 5 years
This card is intended for individuals registered to complete a vocational, academic, or professional qualification. You must provide proof of registration from your training provider, professional body, or university. The card is valid for five years and is non-renewable. All applicants must also pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test, which can be booked below.

CSCS Red Card Provisional
Validity - 6 months
The CSCS Red Card (Provisional) is a temporary card for individuals who have never held a CSCS Card before. It is valid for six months and cannot be renewed. No proof of qualifications is required to apply. However, all applicants must pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test, which can be booked below.
CSCS Gold Card Supervisory
Validity - 5 Years
The CSCS Gold Card is designed for individuals in supervisory roles who have completed an NVQ or SVQ Level 3 or 4. Proof of your qualification must be submitted with your application. This card is valid for five years. All applicants are also required to pass the CITB Supervisors Health, Safety and Environment test, which can be booked below.

CSCS Gold Card Advanced
Validity - 5 Years
The CSCS Advanced Craft Gold Card is for individuals who have completed an NVQ Level 3 or an approved apprenticeship qualification. Proof of qualification must be provided with the application. This card is valid for five years. All applicants must also pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test, which can be booked below.
CSCS Black Card Manager
Validity - 5 Years
The CSCS Black Card is intended for individuals who have completed a Construction Management NVQ at Level 5, 6, or 7, or hold an equivalent qualification. Applicants must have previously held a Level 4 qualification and provide proof of their current qualification with their application. This card is valid for five years. All applicants are also required to pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test, which can be booked below.
CSCS White Card Academically Qualified Person
Validity - 5 Years
The CSCS White Card is designed for individuals who have completed construction-related qualifications, including HNDs, HNCs, CIOB Certificates, or NEBOSH Diplomas. Proof of qualification must be submitted with the application. This card is valid for five years. All applicants must also pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test, which can be booked below.
CSCS White Card Professionally Qualified Person
Validity - 5 Years
The CSCS White Card is for individuals who are members of CSCS-recognised professional bodies. You must provide proof of your membership or registration with the relevant professional body when applying. Without this proof, the application cannot proceed. The card is valid for five years.
